The Real Problem
Communities living near wildlife conservation areas often experience delayed reporting of human–wildlife conflicts, making it difficult for authorities to respond quickly and effectively. Existing reporting methods provide limited spatial awareness, reducing the ability to prevent recurring conflict hotspots and protect both people and wildlife.
The Approach
Design a mobile-first platform that combines GIS mapping, community reporting, and spatial intelligence to improve early warning, incident reporting, and conservation planning.
The prototype focused on creating an intuitive user experience that enables communities to report wildlife incidents, visualize conflict hotspots, and support evidence-based conservation decisions.
